The package has a panel (1) with at least one opening formed in it to receive the base or lower part of an object (3) in order to retain it whilst allowing it also to be moved. The opening includes a closure (4) which can be moved between two operating positions.In the first, closed position the closure covers the opening as the object is not in position. In a second operating position the closure is arranged under the panel as the base or lower part of the object is introduced into the opening. A return system (8) automatically moves the closure from the second position to the first position when the object is withdrawn from the opening.
