PURPOSE:To reduce the number of segments on a display device and to make photographing information displayed on the display device easy to view by constituting so that either of the display device and a mask member for making a part corresponding to a selected photographing mode on the display device visible may be moved to the other. CONSTITUTION:A photographer optionally selects either an ordinary mode group or a picture mode group by operating and sliding a slide member 31 installed in a photographing mode switching device 18. In such a case, the mask part 36 of the slide member 31 is moved on the display device(LCD panel) 41 so that the part corresponding to the selected photographing mode group on the LCD panel 41 can be visually recognized and the part corresponding to the photographing mode group which is not selected can not be visually recognized interlocked with the movement of the slide member 31. By such constitution, only a necessary area on the LCD panel 41 is opened to the photographer. After selecting the photographing mode group, any photographing mode in low order is selected. |
