<p>PURPOSE: To effectively enhance the function for managing a resource access by password arrangement by providing a means for rejecting a user access to a resource to be protected by the password. CONSTITUTION: When each selected location is not in existence in a tap area corresponding to a password image, the entry of the password is failed and a PASSWD 16 checks whether or not the password uses out trials with a highest permissible number. If the trials with the maximum number are not used out, the PASSWD 16 indicates the failure to the user and urges the user for re-trial. Then the PASSWD 16 awaits a series of selection by the user. If the trials of a maximum number are used out, the PASSWD 16 rejects the access of the user to a processing system 10 by selecting an output of the processing system 10 concretely to an OFF position and terminates its operation.</p> |
