PURPOSE:To correct input data by a simple operation without manual input at the time of registering file data composed of respective item data. CONSTITUTION:On the side of a host device 10, when a CPU 11 reads recognition data for respective items from a character recognition device 20 through an IF 18 to a RAM 13 as business card data, a business card read screen is displayed at a display part 15. When a movement object character string and a moving destination are specified on the business card read screen and movement is instructed through an input part 14, an editing processing by the CPU 11 is executed and the movement object character string is moved to the moving destination. Also, when two replacement object items are specified on the business card read screen and replacement is instructed through the input part 14, the editing processing by the CPU 11 is executed and the contents are replaced between the two items. |
