The spring-loaded piano bending mechanism has a bearing block (355) screwed firmly to the mechanism beam (354). In the bearing block the bending lever, pivoted by a spring (362) against the adjustable stop (360) anticlockwise around the joint (DN), is extended by a wire (361) pointing against the repeat shank (362).On actuation from the keyboard, the bending wire provides sprung resilience for enabling a soft playing and the touch sense is make easier, due to clear compression point.
