The air screen (3) is formed across the opening by the jet from a rotary nozzle (6) in a casing (1) fitted to the ceiling of the opening and directed at its floor (2).The infrared radiation from a measurement point (MP) fixed to the floor is picked up by a sensor (4) in the casing. The signal is processed to produce control commands for modification of the jet, which is redirected inwards (3') to counteract the effect of wind pressure on the opening from outside (A).
