PURPOSE:To realize data reception with a desired characteristic by providing the operation part of a selecting means, by which a user changes and adjusts various data reception characteristics, parameters of a demodulating means, etc., outside the equipment main body. CONSTITUTION:In the normal state, the user who uses the data reception equipment doesn't depress a high-quality mode changeover switch. For example, a first demodulating means 16 of low power consumption is selected in this case. If a long delay wave is received, the transmission quality is reduced to degrade the tone quality. When the user depresses the high-quality mode changeover switch, a second demodulating means 17 having a large compensation effect for the delay wave is selected to improve the tone quality. Thus, the user designates first to N-th selecting means 12 to 14 as desired, and optimum one of first to M-th demodulating means 16 to 18 is selected based on this designation by an adjuster 15, and its parameter is set. |
