PURPOSE:To improve the rotation efficiency and the output and to reduce vibration and rotating noises by effectively utilizing the elliptical vibration generated. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of oblique slit grooves 38 are formed in the area near the end face of a third metal block body 34 included in a stator portion 20 so that the node of the longitudinal vibration is located almost at the center of the end face. When the longitudinal vibration is generated by piezoelectric elements 22, 24, a torsional vibration is generated by such oblique slit grooves 38. A rotor portion is set so that the height of a disk 14 almost correspounds to almost 1/4 wavelength of such torsional vibration and when the loop portion of vibration is located at the rotor contact surface of the stator portion 20, the torsional vibration appearing at the stator contact surface 13 of the disk 14 and at the and face in the opposite side is minimized. |
