PURPOSE:To provide a high frequency lighting device which can easily be installed, presents an enhanced efficiency, is embodied in a small size, and can vary the output of the illuminating load easily. CONSTITUTION:The impedance of a long wiring W1 to connect a high frequency constant-voltage power supply A with current transformers CT1, CT2 should serve as a current limiting element for discharge lamps La1, La2. The length (y) of the line is varied to change the impedance value, and the outputs of the lamps La1, La2 are changed. Because the output of the illuminating load can be changed only by changing the impedance of the wiring and also no larger inductor is provided, it is possible to enhance the efficiency of the lighting device, construct it in a small size, and perform installation easily. |
