PURPOSE:To provide a cooler for a vehicle drive, which can cope with the large output with a small quantity of water since it can cool the motor generator with water only at large output and besides which can downsize the motor generator. CONSTITUTION:In an object, which is equipped with a motor generator operating as a drive motor at acceleration of a vehicle and at power running and also as a power regenerative generator at braking of the vehicle, a water tank 3, a nozzle 6 for jetting water, and a water jet motor 5 for driving water are provided, and when the temperature of the motor generator 1 gets over the set value, water is jetted directly from the nozzle 6 by driving the water jet motor 6 so as to cool the motor generator 1. |
