Moulded packaging bodies

To produce shaped bodies such as for packaging or pallets and the like, from fibre material and especially used paper or cardboard, two mould sections (F1,F2) with flat surfaces or fitting into each other match the dimensions and shape of the shaped body (F). They remain while wet at the suction moulds (2,2') and are pressed together by suction and/or pressure. They are taken together from the suction moulds (2,2') and dried. Also claimed is an appts. where the suction moulds (2,2') form at least one pair of suction moulds (P) with relative movement in a common immersion vessel (5), with their suction surfaces (6) against each other. At least one suction mould (2,2') is fitted with a system (14) to give alternating suction and pressure.
