The allen-key has an elastic clamp which is collapsible on its outer contour on insert end (13,17). A circumference groove (15) is formed for accommodating a split spring ring (16).The radial outwards-lying slit edges of the spring ring have chamferings. The groove depths of the circumference groove is equal to or is greater than the cross-sectional diameter of the spring ring. The outer diameter of the ring is 0.3 to 0.6 mm larger than the allen-key width.
