<p>A gravity feed merchandising display system (10) includes a plurality of adjustable and variable width shelf channels (42) to support and organize variously sized merchandise items (14) thereon. The channels (42) are formed by a pair of adjacent slats (40) which extend between a front crossbar (36) and a rear crossbar (38) in the shelving system. Each crossbar (36, 38) includes a plurality of spaced slots (48) to which a tab (56) projecting from each slat can be engaged and disengaged. By adjusting the width between adjacent slats, various sized merchandise items (14) can be supported and displayed in a gravity feed configuration on a shelf of this system. As a result, a retailer has added versatility in designed a merchandising display system and more efficient use of available shelf space.</p> |
