<p>A nozzle assembly for use in separation apparatus for separation of liquid suspensions, a separation apparatus including such a nozzle assembly (1), and a method for its use. In the nozzle assembly (1), the outlet end of the nozzle is biasable towards the inner surface of the rotatable screening drum (7) of the separation apparatus, and tracking means (6) are provided on the nozzle to contact the drum (7) and maintain a substantially constant distance between the nozzle outlet and the drum surface. The outlet end of the nozzle can be swivelable relative to the feed means of the nozzle. The tracking means (6) can comprise a roller or a pad.</p> |
