The security container is designed to resist being blown up. The outer layer of the wall (1) is a yielding layer resistant to the force of an explosion. The inner layer (2) behaves stiffly in relation to an explosive attack.The cavity between the inner and outer layers contains a deformable, partly plastic intermediate layer (3) which absorbs energy on deformation. The intermediate layer has bars (4) joined to the inner and/or outer layer.
