A closure device including a flexible screen with side edges (2) movable in guide channels (3) between a closed position and an open position, wherein said edges (2) are substantially crush-proof or made crush-proof in the lengthwise direction thereof, a drive unit (4) being provided for imparting thrust to said edges (2) in the lengthwise direction thereof to move them along the guide channels (3) and close the screen.
