The dummy thermometer includes a dummy, a thermosensor (3) and a LED or LCD indicator (6). A small sensor plate (2) of a good thermal conductor e.g. silver, copper, aluminium, bronze or a thermally conductive plastic, high mounted in the rubber part (1) of a babys dummy.A temp. sensor (3), e.g. a thermo-resistance, diode, transistor, rigidly attached to the plate (2) produces a temp. signal. The signal is passed to the LED or LCD indicator via a flexible electric lead (4) and an analogue-to-digital converter or ADC mounted in the upper part (5) of the dummy.
