PURPOSE:To prevent a battery from being wasted unwittingly by stopping centering drive and the supply of power to a camera-shake detecting device etc., when the abnormality of an operation is detected. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 is connected to a range-finding circuit 2, a photometry circuit 3, a nonvolatile memory (EEPROM) 4 capable of writing, a main switch 21, a half depressed. switch 22, a fully depressed switch 23, a power supply circuit 5, angular velocity detecting circuits 6 and 7, motor driving circuits 8-10, lens displacement detecting circuits 18-20, etc. Moreover, the power supply circuit 5 controls the power supplied to the angular velocity detecting circuits 6 and 7, the motor driving circuits 8-10 and the lens displacement detecting circuits 18-20 with a signal from the CPU 1. When the abnormality of the operation is detected in the centering drive of a camera-shake correcting lens 16 prior to exposure processing, the centering drive is stopped and the supply of the power to the camera-shake detecting device such as an angular speed sensor is stopped as well. |
