<p>PURPOSE:To markadly improve operability by drastically simplifying a direction designating operation by designating a horizontal or vertical direction only by moving a cursor. CONSTITUTION:A moving speed detection part 6 is provided with a buffer for storing plural samples, fetches mouse coordinates from a mouse coordinate storage part 4 at fixed time intervals and detects the moving speed of the cursor based on the sequence of fetched mouse coordinates. Then, it is decided whether the moving speed of the cursor exceeds a prescribed speed or not. When the moving speed detection part 6 detects that the moving speed of the cursor exceeds the prescribed speed, a direction detection part 7 detects the moving direction of the cursor from the sequence of mouse coordinates and indicates the horizontal or vertical direction to a drawing element generation part 5. When the horizontal or vertical direction is indicated from the direction detection part 7, based on that direction instruction, the drawing element generation part 5 generates prescribed drawing elements.</p> |
