<p>A lock mechanism comprises at least one bolt (3,4) member moveable between an engaged and a disengaged position. The latch arrangement (206) prevents movement of the bolt members (3,4) from the engaged position to the disengaged position. A first operating member (12) for operating the lock mechanism is provided on one side thereof and a second operating member (60B) and a latch release arrangement (208) are provided on the other side of the lock mechanism. The latch arrangement responds to movement of the first operating member (12) or the latch release arrangement (204) to release the bolt members (3,4) and allow movement thereof from the engaged position to the disengaged position. The bolt members (3,4) are further moveable between the engaged and disengaged positions in response to movement of the first (12) or second (60) operating members.</p> |
