Disclosed is a use of a 1,2,4-benzotriazine oxide of general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts of said compound for the preparation of medicament increasing the cytotoxic effect of chemotherapy agent for the solid tumour, for administering to the mammal from about one half hour to about twenty-four hours after administering the 1,2,4-benzotriazine oxide.
