<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water stopping tape free from mutual adhesion during preservation, by sealing a water absorbing and swelling substance layer containing a dispersed inorganic or organic filler to a filmy flexible substrate with a binder. CONSTITUTION:A water absorbing and swelling substance such as hydrolyzate of acrylonitrile graft polymer is sealed to at least one side of a filmy flexible substrate such as polyethylene terephthalate with a binder such as natural rubber to form a water absorbing and swelling substance layer. In the operation, an inorganic filler and/or an organic filler is dispersed into the water absorbing and swelling substance layer.</p> |
