<p>PURPOSE:To make discharged water collide against a projected part and thus prevent firmly scattering of water to the environment by providing the projected part having an upward projection and sloping-down side surface, a groove provided around the projected part, and a drain port for draining water from the groove. CONSTITUTION:A hand wash basin 1 is provided in the center with a ballshell-shaped projected part 2 having an upward projection and in the environmental part of the projected part 2 with a groove 3, and further provided on the depth side of the hand wash basin 1 with a drain port 4 for draining water out of the groove 3. A water discharge pipe is stood on the hand wash basin 1 so that it can pour water on a top part of the projected part 2 and a drain pipe 6 is connected to the drain port 4. Water discharged from the water discharge pipe 5 collides against the top part or a sloping side surface of the projected part 2, flows down along the projected part 2, whereby scattering of water can firmly be prevented. If hands are stretched under the water discharge pipe 5 and washed, the water colliding against the hands spreads over the environment and drops down on the projected part 2. But at this time, as the water which spreads widely while dropping down also collides against the sloping side surface of the projected part 2, the water never scatters widely in the environment.</p> |
