PURPOSE:To provide a weather strip in which the difference in level of a surface or a boundary line is not produced and the color and gloss are uniform and the integral feeling of appearance is enhanced over the closed part of the opening of an end surface from a terminal part and at the same time the number of part items can be reduced and the labor of manufacturing can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A belt molding 1 is composed of a trim part 2 and a cover lip part 3 which are molded with a hard and a soft vinyl chloride resin material into one body, and the trim part 2 is provided with arm outside holding part 4, an inside holding part 5 and an upper surface part 6. In a terminal part 1omega, the cover lip part 3 and the inside holding part 5 are cut off and the outside holding part 4 and the upper surface part 6 are left in the reverse L-shaped form. Immediately after the outside holding part 4 and the upper surface part 6 of the terminal part 1omega are heated for softening, they are pushed against a die and sharply bent at a right angle so as to close the opening 10 of the end surface, thereby forming the closed part of the opening of the end surface. |
