<p>PURPOSE:To easily carry out recovery of a burying machine in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A wire 4 connected to the front part of a burying machine 3 is turned U-likely through a pulley provided on a shore, the burying machine 3 is moved toward a shore while drawing it with a winch 6 on a cable laying ship 2, and a process burying a lengthy object such as subaqueous cable previously laid on the bottom of the water is carried out as a post-process. After completing the burying work of the lengthy object, the extreme end of the wire 4 is detached from the front part of the burying machine 3 and also from the pulley on the shore, and connected to the rear part of the burying machine 3. Next the wire 4 is drawn with the winch 6 on the laying ship 2, so as to draw the burying machine 3 near to the laying ship 2 while directing the machine rearward. Facilities except the laying ship such as a land crane or a floating crane are unnecessary, and the machine can be recovered by only the facilities used for the burying work.</p> |
