<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of offensive odor into the inside of a room by providing a cover body for openably closing a waste disposal port, detecting means placed in the vicinity of the indoor disposal port for detecting the approach of a user, and a control means for driving an exhaust fan on the basis of the output of the detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When garbage is disposed, a cover body 32 is opened and garbage is dumped through a waste disposal port. When a user extends his hand to reach the cover body 32, light sensors 50 arranged on a sink 48 and a housing shelf 49 detect it and output signals for driving a motor 23, so that a shutter 22 is opened and also an exhaust fan 20 is driven. Thus, prior to the opening of the cover body 32, the air inside both a waste passage (duct) 45 and a disposal tank is discharged outside the building. Even if the cover body 32 is opened when garbage is dumped by the user, the offensive odor inside the disposal tank can be prevented from leaking into the inside of the building through the waste passage (duct) 45.</p> |
