<p>PURPOSE:To provide safe orthodontic parts made of titanium having excellent mechanical characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The orthodontic parts made of the titanium are produced by a stage for obtaining a mixture by mixing titanium raw material powder and a binder, a stage for obtaining moldings by injection molding the mixture, a stage for removing the binder in the moldings and a stage for obtaining sintered compacts by sintering the moldings from which the binder is removed. The sintered compacts obtd. in such a manner have a compsn. contg. <=0.25wt.% carbon and <=0.6wt.% oxygen and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities and the relative density thereof is >=97.0%.</p> |
