METHOD AND MOLD FOR MOLDING DOUBLE-LAYERED MOLDED OBJECT

PURPOSE:To control the forming position of a hollow part and improve the 'sink' or deformation of a double-layered molded object to secure excellent appearance. CONSTITUTION:A skin layer 3 is arranged to the cavity formed by a movable mold 1 and a fixed mold 2 both of which are set to an imperfectly closed state and a molten resin 4 is injected in the cavity. Thereafter, the mold cavity is partially closed to compress the part of the molten resin 4a and compressed gas is injected into the part of the molten resin 4b to form a hollow part 5 and, thereafter, the mold cavity is perfectly closed.
