PURPOSE:To provide an in-pipe traveling body which moves inside a pipe in coincidence with the axis of the pipe and requires no towing means such as a winch mechanism as a means for moving it in the inside of pipe. CONSTITUTION:In a rotation converting mechanism 6 arranged in the front part of a frame member 2, front wheel parts 7 provided with freely rotational front wheels 25 are radially arranged freely rotationally, while in a sliding member 21, which is positioned in the rear part of the frame member 2 and is freely movable along the frame member 2, rear wheel member parts 8 provided with freely rotational rear wheels 29 are radially arranged freely rotationally. The rear wheel part 8 and the front wheel part 7 are connected together by means of a bar 30, and one end of an opener 23 extending from a sliding connecting tool 22 which is freely movable along the frame member 2 is installed in the front wheel part 8. In the rear end of the frame member 2, a driving source part, 3 is arranged, and a driving shaft 4, which receives a drive from the driving source part 3 so as to be rotated, is connected to the driving source part 3. The rotation of the driving shaft 4 is transmitted from the rotation converting mechanism 6 to the front wheel 25 via the rotation transmitting member. |
