PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic brake device for a four-wheel vehicle, capable of being operated also by manual operation using a handle lever. CONSTITUTION:In a hydraulic brake device for a hour-wheel vehicle, for driving a master cylinder 40 by the operation of a foot pedal 34, and supplying pressure oil into a brake caliper (rear brake) 47 from the master cylinder 40, so as to operate the rear brake, a foot pedal 34 is extended, and the extended part and a handle lever 48 are connected to each other by a brake wire 49. The handle lever 48 is operated by a hand instead of operating the foot pedal 34 by a foot, thereby the foot pedal 34 is rotated by the brake wire 49 just as it is operated by foot. A the master cylinder 40 is driven, and pressure oil is supplied to the brake caliper 47, thereby braking is applied to the four-wheel just as the foot pedal 34 is operated by foot. |
