PURPOSE:To obtain the subject molded article useful as an agricultural material, a marine material, etc., having excellent biodegradability, by supporting Naisseria sicca as a bacterium having cellulose acetate decomposing ability and/or a cellulose acetate decomposing enzyme produced by the bacterium on a molded article. CONSTITUTION:Naisseria sicca as a bacterium having cellulose acetate decomposing ability and/or a cellulose acetate decomposing enzyme produced by the bacterium is supported on a cellulose acetate having 10-57% degree of acetylation. Naisseria sicca SB (FERM-14,141) or Naisseria sicca SC (FERM P-14,142) is isolated from soil and is useful for raising biodegradation rate of cellulose acetate. |
