PURPOSE:To obtain a near-infrared-polymerizable composition which is a photocurable material and can be fully cured even in the form of a pigmented coating material by combining a specified colorant with a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:This composition is the one comprising a cyanine pigment, an s-triazine compound, an organic borate and an ethylenically unsaturated compound. The cyanine pigment is selected form among sensitizable pigments having an absorption peak at 600-1100nm. It is desirable that the s-triazine compound is one having a methyl group at least one of the hydrogen atoms of which is replaced by a chlorine atom or a bromine atom. As the etylenically unsaturated compound, a compound which is cured by a radical addition polymerization when a photopolymerization initiator is allowed to act on it. The cyanine pigment is used in an amount of 0.01-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. ethylenically unsaturated compound, the s-triazine compound is used in an amount of 0.1-20 pts.wt., and the borate is used in an amount of 0.1-20 pts.wt. |
