PURPOSE:To reduce toe-and-heel wear and improve ice-and-snow road running performance of a studless tire without deteriorating wear resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a tread pattern including a block 3 divided by a main groove 1 in the tire circumferential direction and a lateral groove 2, the block 3 positioned on the shoulder part make its longitudinal width A 1.5 to 3.0% of the tire peripheral length and its lateral width B 19 to 28% of the tire ground width and slits 4a, 4b facing each other so as not to divide the block 3 are formed on both sides on approximately the central position in the block longitudinal direction, while a sipe 5 of narrower groove width than the slits is formed so as to connect both slits 4a, 4b. The length C, D of respective slits 4a, 4b have their sums of the length C+D 50 to 85% of the lateral width of the block and the groove width E of the sipe between both slits is 0.5 to 3.0mm. |
