WATER-SOLUBLE FILM AND AG SHAPED MOLDED PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To improve decomposability and solubility in water and to impart excellent heat resistance and good blocking resistance by setting the thickness of the recessed parts of a water-soluble film to which emboss processing is applied and the tensile strength of the film to specific values. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of the recessed parts of a water-soluble film to which emboss processing is applied is set to 15-25mum and the tensile strength of the film is set to 2.5-4.5kg/cm<2>. As a water-soluble resin, polyvinyl alcohol is pref. from the viewpoint of excellent blocking properties. The surface area of the recessed parts is set to 40% or less with respect to the total area in order to make heat seal strength still more excellent. The thickness of the protruding parts of the film is pref. 20-100mum. The design of the recessed parts on the surface of the film is composed of linear longitudinal grooves and linear lateral grooves and the design of the protruding parts has various shapes such as a hexagonal shape or a diamond shape but a grid like design is especially pref. because the dispersion and solubility of the film at the time of bursting are excellent.
