PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hours for development, work and maintenance work, by a method wherein a slip printing file is manufactured by embedding variable printing data into a variable printing items by making the item to correspond to a symbol contained in a record. CONSTITUTION:A slip format file 2 is prepared by a standardized text editor 1, and on one hand, a slip data file 5 is prepared based on a source 3 of data such as a data base in accordance with an applied program 4. A slip printing file 7 is prepared in accordance with a slip program 6 to which the foregoing method is applied by the slip format file 2 and slip data file 5 which are prepared like this. Then printing of the slip is performed by a printing device 8 in accordance with the slip printing file 7. When this method is applied, a reduction of working man-hours necessary for printing processing and facilitation of a change of a slip format become possible. |
