<p>PURPOSE:To keep the fungus body at a high density by granulating denitrifying bacteria, efficiently remove the NOx in an org. waste water by the operation under the high volume load, maintain a stabilized granulated sludge bed and shorten the period of time until the normal running by using this biological denitrifying method. CONSTITUTION:An org. waste water contg. NOx is passed upward through the anaerobic treating tank 1 having a granulated sludge bed 2 to biologically reduce the NOx by this biological denitrifying method. In this case, the granulated sludge bed 3 of methane-fermenting bacteria is filled in the tank 1, the operation is started up to propagate denitrifying bacteria around the sludge, hence the granulated sludge bed 2 to which the denitrifying bacteria are adhered is formed, and the waste water is denitrified.</p> |
