PURPOSE: To improve the cushioning protective function and the versatility of a cushion-packaging material to package and cushion-protect an article to be packaged by providing an uneven part on at least one surface of a sheet- like base material to provide the elasticity on at least this uneven part. CONSTITUTION: In a cushion-packaging material to be favorably used as an interior material of a packaging material 10 of an envelope and a box, an uneven part 2 is integratedly provided on a surface 11 of a rectangular sheet-like base material 1 through the simultaneous foaming with the base material 1. The uneven part 2 is of grooved shape arranged in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the rectangular base material 1, a recessed part 21 and a projecting part 22 are square in section with same groove width a, b, and the recessed part 21 and the projecting part 22 are fitted to each other. During the use, the base material 1 is folded into two with the uneven part 2 inside, and inserted into the packaging material 10 such as an envelope from the folding side, an article 20 to be packaged is inserted between double- folded base material 1, and then, the packaging material 10 is sealed to complete the packaging of the article 20 to be packaged. |
