PURPOSE:To improve a sealing property and to reduce the sound of going- through air by projecting an outside seal lip to cover an end edge part of a body panel on an upper part of a sectional U letter shaped base bottom part of a weather strip fit on a glass and an inside seal lip to elastically make contact with the vertical surface of the end edge part on a lower part and installing a bridge between them. CONSTITUTION:A sponge rubber made bridge 37 is provided between a solid rubber made outside seal lip 35 to cover an end edge part of a body panel 10 integrally projectively provided on an upper part of a solid rubber made sectional U letter base bottom part 31 fit on a glass 20 and a sponge rubber made inside seal lip 36 to elastically make contact with the vertical surface of an end edge part on a lower part. In the state where the glass 20 is closed, as the inside seal lip 36 makes elastically contact with the vertical surface of the end edge part of the body panel 10 and sags, the sagged inside seal lip 36 rolls in the bridge 37, pulls the outside seal lip 35 to the inside, prevents its jumping up and doubly seals with the inside seal lip 36, it is possible to improve a sealing property and to reduce the sound of the air driven through. |
