PURPOSE:To return an excess fuel from a pressure governor to a fuel tank without passing a high temperature section such as an engine. CONSTITUTION:A pressure governor has a case 21 having an inlet 21a for fuel flowing from a fuel pump, an outlet 21c for fuel to flow to an internal combustion engine, and an open section. In addition, the governor is provided with a valve 26 on an elastic membrane 25 to close the open section, while an excess fuel discharge passage 26c being formed at the center of the valve 26 for communicating internal space across the case 21 divided with the elastic membrane 25. Furthermore, the governor has a valve seat 21b fitted to the case 21 so as to be faced to the valve 26 for closing the passage 26c thereof in pressed contact state, and a spring 24 for keeping the valve 26 in contact with the valve seat 21b under the prescribed pressure. |
