PURPOSE:To provide a sliding catheter without requiring an increase in the forward end outer diameter of a catheter tube, having joint strength enough to withstand the pressure of a pressure fluid sealed in a balloon film and allowing a balloon film to be easily jointed even to a small diameter catheter tube. CONSTITUTION:This catheter has a catheter tube 4 to be inserted in a celom, a slide tube 6 internally coupled to the tube 4 for free travel in an axial direction, and a cylindrical balloon film 8 with the first open end 8a jointed to the forward end of the tube 6 and the second open end 8b jointed to the forward end of the tube 4. Furthermore, the open end 8b of the film 8 is positioned on the internal surface of the forward end of the tube 4, and clamped with and jointed to a groove formed on the tube 4 from the forward end internal surface thereof to the external surface. The groove is formed between a forward end tip tube separated from the forward end of the tube 4 and the forward end of a catheter tube body where the forward end tip tube is jointed via the open end 8b of the film 8. |
