PURPOSE:To restrain as far as possible the dispersion in the value to be provided to a player at the time of occurrence of a specific game condition by controlling a Japanese pinball game (pachinko) machine in such a way that the continuous winning of hit balls is hardly obtained in the first condition in the second mode of a variable winning ball device as compared with the first condition in the first mode. CONSTITUTION:This pachinko game machine is provided with a variable winning ball device 4 by which a first condition being profitable to a player and a second condition being unprofitable to the player are changeable, a specific winning port 8 as a specific game condition detecting means for detecting the occurrence of a predetermined specific game condition, and a control device by which, after the variable winning ball device 4 has been controlled to the first condition in the first mode on the basis of the detection output by means of the specific winning port 8, and under the condition that a predetermined mode changeover condition is satisfied, the variable winning ball device 4 is controlled to the first condition in the second mode, and then it is brought into the second condition. Further, the game machine is controlled in such a way that the continuous winning of hit balls is hardly obtained in the first condition in the second mode of the variable winning ball device 4 as compared with the first condition in the first mode. |
