PURPOSE:To obtain a sterilizing device wherein, even in the event of a container transfer means being stopped, it is unnecessary to remove containers from the inside of a spray device and also to suspend the spray of sterilizing liquid. CONSTITUTION:An aseptic chamber 6 is provided in its interior with a transfer means consisting of rails 12 and 14 and screws 16, 18, 20 and 22 to transfer containers 10. The inlet opening 24a of a spray pipe is open toward the lower side of the rail and the outlet opening 26a of a suction pipe 26 is open opposite to the inlet opening. An air injection nozzle 28 is provided between the inlet opening 24a and the outlet opening 26a. Hydrogen peroxide in the form of a mist is normally sprayed from the spray pipe 24. During successive transfer of containers 10, air is injected from the air injection nozzle 28 to spray the hydrogen peroxide in the form of the mist against the container 10 for attachment thereto and, when the transfer means is stopped, the air injection is suspended to keep the hydrogen peroxide from attaching to the container 10. |
