PURPOSE:To protect a product packed inside at the time of carrying a packing case by setting a corrugated fibreborad-made cushioning material in the packing case. CONSTITUTION:First slits 2 each having almost the same length as the full length of a corrugated fibreboard material 1 in the width direction thereof are formed through the corrugated fibreboard material 1 except at least the right and left side edge parts thereof, whereby a plurality of first folding parts 5 each having a cut part 3 cut by the first slit 2 and uncut parts 4 without the first slit 2 are formed at fixed intervals in parallel. Second slits 6 each having the same length as the full length in the width direction are formed in the intermediate parts between the plurality of first folding parts 5, whereby a plurality of second folding parts 7 are formed by cut parts by the second slits 6 at fixed intervals in parallel alternately with the first folding parts 5. Plane parts 8 each provided between the first folding part 5 and the second folding part 7 are folded back alternately at the first folding parts 5 and the second folding parts 7 to be overlapped.
