PURPOSE:To provide a rice-boiling method which gives boiled rice having the good texture similar to that of pure domestic rice from the rice blend prepared by mixing plural kinds of domestic and imported rice immediately before the boiling. CONSTITUTION:Domestic rice and imported rice are stored in stock tanks 2, 2,... every species of the rice in the storehouse 1 and fed through the metering device 5 into the washing tank 7, then sent into the soaking tank 11. Then, soaked raw rices are fed through the metering device 13 into the boiling kettle 14 in a certain proportion according to the blending formulation, at the same time water also is fed and boiled with gas burner 15 under the optimal heating conditions according to the blending conditions to give boiled rice having the texture similar to that given by pure domestic rice. |
