PURPOSE: To achieve compactification and cost reduction by providing a main section wherein an uppermost section, a plurality of intermediate sections and a bottom section are mutually fixed and demarcating ink receiving channels between the intermediate sections and the bottom sections so as to introduce ink into these channels through a filter. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet printing head 10 connected to a supply container 12 through an ink conduit 14, a rectangular orifice plate 18 forming a front end section 16 is provided and a series of small diameter ink discharge orifices 20 arranged so as to be spaced apart from each other are provided to the orifice plate 18. A main body section wherein a rectangular uppermost section 22, intermediate sections 24, 26 and a bottom section 28 are mutually fixed is arranged on the back side of the orifice plate 18 and a series of ink receiving channels demarcated by a plurality of vertical grooves are formed to the intermediate section 26 and the bottom section 28 and ink is supplied to these channels from the ink conduit 14 through the filter in a cover section 36. |
