The fixture has a baseplate (1) with two openings lying next to each other, two parallel spectacle frame holders (11,12) coupled and slidable opposite each other, and a sliding centering wedge (34) located centrally between the openings. Pairs of carrier elements (13,14,19) engage with the upper region and opposite lower edge region of the frame (37). A retaining block (32) for a guide rod (31) carried in the frame holders is attached centrally between the openings.
