The electromagnet can be designed as a single or double acting solenoid with a piston(4) as an armature, which is connected with a driven shaft(5). The driven shaft is coupled with the door leaf e.g. across a power transmitting lever system. An opening or closing spring can be included. The relative movement of coil and armature of the solenoid or the relative movement of the prim. and sec. part of the linear motor and the movement of the driven shaft, is electrically controlled by corresp. electrical loading of the solenoid or the linear motor. The control pref. is arranged corresp. to a programme.
