DEVICE FOR METERED EXTRACTION OF BULK SOLIDS

An extraction hopper (1) with a feed aperture (3) is filled with a bulk substance (2). Beneath the feed aperture (3) there is a rotary feed-through (4), the peripheral wall (5) of which delimits a feed-through chamber (6). The cylindrical peripheral wall (5) has an inlet/outlet aperture (7) matched to the cross-section of the feed aperture (3). In its upwardly directed position it communicates with the feed aperture (3). The bulk substance falls into the feed-through chamber (6) and immediately fills it. To empty the chamber, the rotary feedthrough is rotated through 180.degree., whereupon the feed aperture (3) of the extraction hopper (1) is closed off from the peripheral wall. It is thus possible to extract bulk substances simply and economical.
