The invention concerns hair-treatment agents, in particular hairsprays, in the form of aqueous dispersions of insoluble polymers which have a glass transition temperature of between -20 and +70 DEG C and are essentially formed by monomers selected from the group comprising esters of acrylic or methacrylic acid and styrene. The hair-treatment agents are noted for their good setting effect, exceptional spraying behaviour and short drying times.
