<p>This invention is a golf swing training apparatus (10) including a base plate (12), a pair of arm members (30, 30') removably attachable to the base plate (12) at select locations (20) between the opposite ends of the base plate (12) such that distal end zones (38) of the arm members (30, 30') are disposed in spaced relation above a support surface. First and second tether assemblies (60, 60') each includes a tethering cord (64) having an upper looped end (69) rotatable supported on a respective one of the distal end zones (38) of the arm members (30, 30'), and an opposite end (65) having a ball (80) fixedly attached thereto and supported in hanging relation above the support surface, each of the balls (80) on the respective tethering assemblies (60, 60') being disposed in spaced relation relative to one another, such that when the balls (80) are sequentially struck by the club head as it passes through the proper swing path, they are caused to rotate about the distal end zone (38) of the respective arm member.</p> |
